From far away it is hard to tell that the artwork is made up off tiny pieces of history of everyday life, but on closer observation you may see bits and pieces of a music sheet, a crossword puzzle done by a friend or a map…. this allows me to take others on the journey of creating my art. The sheets of paper have color and Texture added then are torn and collage much like a painter would lay a brushstroke. No paint is added to the papers after they are collage onto the canvas. Read more about some of the art work at Stories From the easel because sometimes there is more than meets the eye.
